What is DHA?
DHA - the abbreviation stands for docosahexaenoic acid - is a long-chain, polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid.
Why is DHA important?
Omega-3 fatty acids contribute to the normal development of brain and nerve cells as well as vision. Omega-3 fatty acids are naturally present in breast milk. From the supplementary dietary age onwards, babies can absorb DHA through their supplementary diet, such as fatty fish. In order to ensure that all children receive a sufficient supply of this important nutrient, the use of DHA in follow-on formula will be legally required in future. DHA is of course also contained in every HiPP follow-on formula.

Neue Zubereitung
Beachten Sie bei der Zubereitung von Säuglingsmilchnahrungen genau die Gebrauchsanweisung. Unsachgemäße Zubereitung oder Aufbewahrung des zubereiteten Fläschchens über einen längeren Zeitraum kann zu gesundheitlichen Beeinträchtigungen z. B. durch das Wachstum unerwünschter Keime führen. Nahrung daher vor jeder Mahlzeit frisch zubereiten und sofort füttern. Nahrungsreste nicht wieder verwenden. Flasche, Sauger und Ring gründlich reinigen. Den geöffneten Beutel nach Produktentnahme wieder gut verschließen, trocken und bei Raumtemperatur lagern und innerhalb von 3 Wochen aufbrauchen. Erwärmen Sie die Nahrung nicht in der Mikrowelle (Verbrühungsgefahr).
- Frisches Trinkwasser abkochen und auf ca. 40°-50°C abkühlen.
- Gewünschte Menge abgekochtes Wasser (siehe Tabelle) in ein Fläschchen geben.
- Empfohlene Pulvermenge (siehe Tabelle) abmessen. Messlöffel locker füllen und abstreifen. Pulver zum Wasser geben.
- Fläschchen verschließen und mehrmals kräftig schütteln.
- Auf Trinktemperatur ca. 37°C abkühlen. Temperatur überprüfen.
*Um die natürlichen Milchsäurekulturen (Lactobazillen) nicht zu schädigen, bitte die Nahrung nicht mit zu heißem Wasser zubereiten. Tipp: HiPP Baby Quellwasser – ideal zur Zubereitung von Milchnahrungen – auch ohne Abkochen
Trinkmenge und Dosierung
Trinkmenge pro Fläschchen kann individuell unterschiedlich sein. Empfohlene Trinkmengen und Anzahl der Fläschchen pro Tag sind Richtwerte. Ihr Baby muss nicht zwingend das Fläschchen leer trinken. Bitte verwenden Sie nur den beiliegenden Messlöffel! Ein Messlöffel entspricht 30ml Wasser.

Babys, die nicht oder nur teilweise gestillt werden, erhalten mit einer Säuglingsnahrung alle wesentlichen Nährstoffe, die sie in dieser wichtigen Phase brauchen.
Ein Baby ganz oder teilweise mit dem Fläschchen zu ernähren, bedeutet nicht, ihm weniger Zuwendung und Liebe zugeben. Im Gegenteil: Nehmen Sie Ihr Baby wie auch beim Stillen in den Arm und halten Sie möglichst immer Blickkontakt. So wird es nicht nur satt, sondern auch zufrieden.

Optimale Zubereitung
Bei der Zubereitung von Säuglingsmilchnahrung sollten Sie sich stets genau an die Packungsanweisungen halten. Für die Nährstoffversorgung und die Bekömmlichkeit der Nahrung ist es wichtig, dass die angegebenen Mengen an Pulver und Wasser eingehalten werden. Beachten Sie außerdem einige Hygieneregeln, denn Babys Immunsystem muss erst noch reifen: Fläschchen immer nur unmittelbar vor dem Füttern und nicht auf Vorrat zubereiten. Die Hände, der Messlöffel und alle Teile des Fläschchens müssen absolut sauber und trocken sein. Das Wasser für die Nahrung stets abkochen.
Wohltemperierter Genuss
Wenn Sie Ihrem Baby das Fläschchen geben, sollte die Trinktemperatur höchstens 37°C betragen (Körpertemperatur). Ein paar Tropfen auf der Innenfläche Ihres Handgelenks sind ein guter Test: Die Milch sollte sich nicht heiß, sondern warm anfühlen. Die Menge, die Ihr Baby trinkt, schwankt je nach Appetit und Tageszeit. Lassen Sie Ihr Baby soviel trinken, dass es satt wird. Bleiben nach einer Mahlzeit Reste übrig, so verwerfen Sie diese. Die Nahrung darf nicht wieder verwendet werden.
Saubere Sauger, gesunde Kinder
Alle Fläschchenteile und Sauger müssen nach jeder Mahlzeit gründlich gespült und sorgfältig gereinigt werden. Gummisauger sollten gelegentlich ausgekocht werden (bei Silikonsaugern nicht erforderlich). Verwenden Sie für das Abmessen des Pulvers immer nur den Löffel, der der jeweiligen Packung beigelegt ist. Er muss weder gespült noch sterilisiert werden. Putzen Sie den Messlöffel nach Gebrauch nur mit einem sauberen Küchentuch aus und achten Sie auf eine saubere und trockene Aufbewahrung außerhalb der Packung.
