Warum?
Jedes Spessartbrett erhält eine Nummer. Diese wird per Handarbeit mit Schlagzahlen eingeschlagen. Muss nicht sein, macht uns aber Freude, und Ihnen sicher auch, oder?Aber die Sache mit der Nummer hat noch einen weiteren Grund. Zu jedem verkauften Brett pflanzen wir eine Eiche.
Wir nehmen von der Natur, wir geben der Natur. Somit öffnet und schließt sich der Kreislauf.
Und jeder Baum bekommt die Nummer des Brettes.
Die Sache mit den Bäumen. Wie wir von der Natur nehmen, und wie wir wieder geben.
Wir sind dankbar, dass wir von der Natur bekommen. Und, dass wir uns abwenden können von Plastik, Billigprodukten, Niedriglohnproduktion und Regenwaldrodung. Da wir alles so natürlich wie möglich machen, beginnt der Kreislauf in einem Eichenwald. Dort lassen wir den Bäumchen Zeit zu keimen, sich zu entwickeln. Und dort bekommen sie auch schon „ihre Nummer“. Damit wir Wildverbiss und anderen Einflüssen vorbeugen, geben wir den Bäumchen etwa ein Jahr Zeit, bis wir sie an den endgültigen Platz bringen. Dieser ist entweder in der freien Natur, bei Aufforstungen, oder auf einem unserer Waldstücke.

We like to work with our hands. The selection of woods for our products is the first step, an important one.
The products take shape step by step and are often touched, edited, examined and tested. With us "nothing falls out of the machine" and "nothing is sent directly".

A joinery / wood mechanic apprenticeship 30 years ago probably set the foundation for the Spessart board.
Collaboration with a joinery company in the Spessart, which has existed for over 100 years and is now friends and partners, was probably a coincidence.
Hand in hand, the Spessart board was created based on experience, tradition and looking to the future.
