Mozart created a sheer infinite abundance of compositions of timeless beauty and harmony - yet he himself appreciated the sweetness of life with all its amenities and delicacies.
The Wunderkind
"Wolferl", as Mozart was often affectionately called, saw the light of day on 27 January 1756 in Salzburg's Getreidegasse. Together with his older sister Nannerl, he was taught by his father Leopold Mozart at an early age.
Already at the age of five he composed his first pieces for piano. At the age of six he played the second violin in a quartet and said to the amazed listeners: "To play a second violin you don't have to have learned it! It is also said that he jumped on Empress Maria Theresa's lap during an audience and kissed her warmly. No wonder that courtly society quickly took the cheeky, extremely talented rascal to its heart.
The years in Vienna
After extensive concert tours with his father and a position as concertmaster with the Salzburg prince archbishop Colloredo, he moved to Vienna in the summer of 1781, where he worked as a freelance composer who inspired people with his brilliant works.
Wolfgang & Constanze
On 4 August 1782 he married his beloved Constanze, née Weber, in St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, even before his father had given his written permission. Constanze was a fun-loving woman who, thanks to her musical education, became a good listener and advisor to Wolfgang. She accompanied her husband on his travels across Europe. Her fox terrier "Pimperl" played an important role in the life of the Mozarts and was mentioned in many letters.
The Complete Works of Mozart
Mozart died on 5 December 1791 at the age of only 35. His oeuvre encompasses the entire breadth of artistic expression of his time. He composed for Emperor Joseph II, for the nobility, the church, the theatre and the concert hall. According to today's knowledge, his oeuvre comprises over 1,000 works - including operas, symphonies, concerts, songs and not least his very last work, the world-famous Requiem in D minor.

In 1865, pastry chef Peter Reber opened the first Reber confectionery pastry shop in Munich. With his homemade delicacies, he soon made a name for himself and his café became the popular meeting place of the people of Munich.

The Paul Reber Specialty GmbH & Co. KG from Bad Reichenhall has now been honored by the DLG (German Agricultural Society) for the first time with the "Award for long-standing product quality". Many companies in the food industry have voluntarily tested their products for many years by the experts of the DLG. In order to sustainably promote this quality aspiration, the DLG awards the "Prize for Long-Term Product Quality". The award has been awarded annually to food manufacturers for 30 years.
Companies have to take part in the quality training courses of the DLG Food Test Center for five consecutive years and receive at least three awards per award year. From the 5th successful year of participation, the company is awarded the "Prize for Long-Term Product Quality". If a manufacturer does not participate in a year or if he does not achieve the required number of awards, he loses his claim to the award.
