Why is Anti Brumm Forte so highly effective?

Where can I use Anti Brumm Forte?
Anti Brumm® Forte (only in your pharmacy) protects against mosquitoes for up to 6 hours and against ticks for up to 5 hours. When used sparingly, it can be used on children as young as 3 years old.
Anti Brumm® Forte is ideal for leisure, sports and travel and can be used in all areas including the tropics.
Effective protection - even in the tropics
Since various mosquito species transmit diseases such as malaria or yellow fever in the tropics, particularly effective mosquito protection is of great importance there. The Swiss Tropical Institute has tested Anti Brumm® Forte exemplarily against tropical mosquitoes and confirmed the effective protection.
Anti Brumm® Forte is therefore suitable for both mosquito and tick protection at home and when traveling.

Anti Brumm® Forte suitable for children from 3 years
For younger children, the recommendation is Anti Brumm® Naturel, which is already approved for children from 1 year.
Anti Brumm® Forte is suitable for use from 3 years of age. Interim variations in the age declaration were based on approval decisions at EU level with the aim of standardizing repellents containing DEET. Following a product-specific review, the minimum age for use of Anti Brumm® Forte was corrected back to 3 years.
Anti Brumm® Forte can be used again for children from 3 years of age
The recommended age for use of Anti Brumm® Forte has been changed twice in recent months: From the original recommended use for children 3 years and older, the minimum age for use was initially raised to 12 years, before now being lowered again to a recommended minimum age of 3 years.
The interim increase was due to an EU regulation to standardize the approvals of insect repellents based on the active ingredient DEET. Following a new, product-specific evaluation of Anti Brumm® Forte, the minimum age has now been corrected back to 3 years. The proven and safe formulation of Anti Brumm® Forte has not changed - regardless of the declaration on the product.
How is Anti Brumm® Forte used in children?
For adults and children over 3 years of age:
- Do not spray all over the body but only on uncovered skin.
- For the face: spray hands and rub the face with it
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Apply product sparingly (for a palm-sized area of skin: about 3 pumps).
- Do not apply to wounds and mucous membranes
- Apply Anti Brumm® Forte at the earliest 30 minutes after the application of a sunscreen

Anti Brumm® Forte during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
There is insufficient knowledge available on the use of Anti Brumm® Forte during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Successfully tested by the Swiss Tropical Institute
Insect protection plays a central role when traveling to the tropics. This is because mosquito species lurk there that can transmit dangerous diseases such as malaria or yellow fever.
An effective and reliable repellent is therefore indispensable for vacations in the tropics and when traveling to areas with a high risk of yellow fever or malaria.
If you want to be on the safe side, you can use Anti Brumm® (Anti Brumm® Forte (active ingredient: DEET) Anti Brumm® Classic or Anti Brumm® Naturel (active ingredient: Citriodiol®). These products have been tested by the Swiss Tropical Institute and awarded the quality seal "Tested by the Swiss Tropical Institute".
Mosquito repellents under test
The testing of the four Anti Brumm® preparations was carried out according to a proven test procedure of the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
Specifically, the mosquito repellents were tested for their protective effect against the yellow fever mosquito (Aedes aegypti) and the malaria mosquito (Anopheles stephensi). Both mosquito species were from laboratory breeding. On the evening before the test day, the mosquitoes were deprived of sugar water so as not to affect their "appetite." The test subjects were instructed to avoid alcohol, caffeine and scented cosmetic products so as not to falsify the test result.
Among other things, the test checked whether the mosquitoes remained sitting or biting on the treated skin area for more than 2 seconds and sucked blood. These parameters were used to calculate the effectiveness of the repellents.
Guarantee mark of the Swiss Tropical Institute for Anti Brumm® Forte
The result: Anti Brumm® Forte, Classic and Naturel protect so reliably that the use of the guarantee mark of the Swiss Tropical Institute was approved for the products.

Der Eduard Vogt hat es oft auf spannende Reisen ins Ausland gezogen. Instructions for use
Anti Brumm® Forte is sprayed evenly onto unprotected skin areas. Textiles made of cotton and wool can also be sprayed, contact with plastic materials and fibers and painted surfaces should be avoided.
Apply Anti Brumm® Forte at the earliest 30 minutes after applying the sunscreen.
Please also observe the following instructions:

- Avoid touching the eyes
- Anti Brumm® Forte irritates eyes and skin
